She Was Looking To Employ Shakespeare

The actress stands poised on the stage, darting her eyes across the audience and gleaming them upon the bystanders in the wings. One whispers to the principle actor, things which trouble him deeply. Watch his brow criss cross with doubt and concern. He stares about wildly, fixing his eyes on her desperately as the bystander continues to whisper.

Our actress winces and knits her brows in concentration a moment, then steps forward slightly and opens her lips and in a powerful whisper, she exclaims...

Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments. Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove.
Oh, no, it is an ever-fixd mark
That looks on tempests and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wandring bark,
Whose worths unknown, although his height be taken.
Loves not Times fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickles compass come;
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom.
If this be error and upon me proved,
I never writ, nor no man ever loved.

She ends with a damp glint of truth, constancy, and a hint of defiance in her saucer widened blue eyes.
